Ok.

So I got an email from Miss Schtrulis on monday.

Hi Sidney,

I just got back to Sydney, and I am hoping to have final details regarding the employment for you by mid/end of this week. Again, my apologies for the lengthy process.

It's friday today and no email, so at 3pm I called her phone number and asked what the progress was. She said they were setting up a formal invitation to employment letter, and she was waiting for her HR department to send her that. On her part, she's ordered a laptop... for use in the position being hired for. One week shipping, so she's looking at setting the first day of work on 27th October or the monday after that. I can expect my letter next week.

I thanked her. On hind sight, I think I should also have said that I was very happy to get it but I think she felt it.

So now, yes, she confirmed with me that I've gotten the position. I will start soon as a Rich Media Coordinator. JOY!


I feel immense relief. A tremendous weight has been lifted off me. I am raring to go, to meet new challenges and develop mastery over them. I can stop worrying about one set of problems and begin on a whole lot of new ones. Still it feels good. It's a new era in my life, the quarter life crisis is blowing itself out.

oh joy. I can breathe again.
