tis been awhile

thiisa time i didn't make the mistake of reading other people's sad blogs before writing... i only read kristal's, which doesn't bring me down. Somehow reading it is a furious race of following a multitude of voices in her head clambering to shout over another with each of their own individual opinions. Like a semi coherent government in parliament. A roller coaster of thoughts. okok, you geddit.

Saturday was the second session for Jason the Drummer Boy to record for the upcoming Eightball album. Drums all set in the sound studio, with nello and me backing him. Halfway through, Xibin pops in to my surprise. Sometimes a meeting unbidden brings joy unexpected. I was amazed when he played the keyboard an old jazz piece the title which i've forgotten. We went to the reservoir for a break and skipped stones. Much like an Amelie moment. I've known other friends longer than him, but i feel as if i've known him the longest. He said skipping stones there and then, was the most fun day he's had in awhile. I'm glad he took solace in my company, i don't fully know what's going on in his life right now, but it's nice to know he's glad doing things with a simple friend.

Well the recording sessions went well, we had fun and results, best of all we're closer to our dream of making an Eightball album. Not so lucky on my fyp front though, progress is scarce on the project. Moving nowhere.... i can almost breed mosquitos in my mind. Gosh i'll be dead soon. Production with Lup tomolo. i'll put it off another day, as i have been for weeks now.

I felt great coming home after recording much of Jason's songs for his musical, but i stupidly went to read some of my friends blogs and their sad posts made me sad. what a moron i am.
