2d1n Bintan vacation

It was great fun. Here's something that happened:

I rode on a motorcycle for the first with no license and a 10minute lesson on how to change gears. I clocked 110kn/h and the wave cycle almost wheelie-ed... hahah, exhilirating, but the dangerous sensation was such a worry...

on a junction, kieth in front of me signaled that we should turn, but alas it was too late. i was travelling at 60km/h with 30m left to make the turn.

Here's my lack of judgment coming in from lack of experiance. I should've gone straight and u-turned, but i didn't know riding very well, i couldn't judge if i needed more distance for the turn since i was so fast. I realized this halfway through the turn that i'd go off the road and onto the earth which would be downhill into a river 40m off. I squeezed my front and back brakes on the turn and skidded.

Now all i remember was the skidding and sliding on the gravel for about 3m, on my left shoulder and both arms outstretched. Later on i was wondering how i got the wounds on my right side.

Apparantly my bike gave way under me and i fell on my right, smashing the head lamp, side view mirror and scraping my knee on the tarmac. One of the mirror shards flew into my right fist. After i hit the ground i bounced up, spun sideways in the air once and spun again on the ground before sliding along on my left shoulder.

I stood up, stunned and watched scraped off skin on my shoulder, elbows, fists and knee thinking: boy this is gonna hurt. Prophetically, the pain came in more and more and the blood went out.

Well, i'm back, it's all good and healing, still fucking stings when i bathe. But all in all, it was great fun. Great experiance.
